Comments for Shudder To Think, Get Your Goat

By far my favorite Shudder to Think album. Very psychedelic, it kind of moves your soul to some weird place where music has no boundaries and artists have guts and talent.

The album where Shudder To Think developed the true powerand balance of dissonance and beauty that they are nowmasters of. Featured previous guitarist Chris Matthews anddrummer Mike Russell. Sort of a transitionary album. Wherethey once wrote more straight-ahead pop tunes with odd lyrics, they inserted a weirder bent and a more twistedmusical approach. It`s like finding a piece of candy onthe ground, rolling it over and seeing that the underside`scovered with maggots. I`ve heard Craig Wedren (vocalist)use that description before when describing their music.
