This is absolutely one of Carly''s best productions. It''s hard to believe it''s a soundtrack. Outrageous material throughout.

This is the soundtrack to a Nora Ephron film that didn`t getmuch praise or attention. The music, all written and performed by Carly, is excellent, though. She moves veryconvincingly through an array of styles: an acoustic ballad (`Love of My Life`), playful scat-singing on `Back The Way`,a great lusty ballad in `Easy On The Eyes`, an Ethel Mermaninspired `The Show Must Go On` (!), and a Christmas ballad (`The Night Before Christmas) that has since been coveredby Amy Grant. All of these provide examples of Carly at herbest. But it is more of an EP than LP - there are too few songs - and all of these gems have been included on`Clouds In My Coffee`.
