Another great release from Carly Simon! The slick production of Arif Mardin perfectly compliments her flawless pop tunes...from the sultry and soulful classic "You Belong to Me" to the dreamy folk of "For Old Times Sake" to the Carole King-flavored "You're the One," this release is a definite winner. Even the disco-ish "Tranquillo" and the whimsical "De Bat (Fly in Me Face)" are winning tunes, but the album's true masterpiece is "Haunting," a beautifully somber ballad that lives up to its title! Sounding more like a song from a classic Broadway show rather than late 70's pop fodder, Carly should DEFINITELY be proud of this song!! And if you have any taste for heartfelt vocals, touching lyrics, and enough emotional moments to give you chills, then "Boys in the Trees" is an album you shouldn't miss!!

I can not say anything else regarding BITT that has not already been said,except hear the total works in the new digitally remastered CD. BITT sounds even better and long ago I thought it was a 10 ! Jeff

Carly at her finest. Boys In The Trees a brilliant song ! Two understated gems - In A Small Moment and You're The One. A great single - You Belong To Me and a good rocker - One Man Woman.

A true masterpiece. Each song here is memorable with lots of James` voice and guitar to blend with Carly`s wonderful singing and playing. Okay, I`ll admit it.
