Where can I locate the lyrics for "Our First Day Together"

Of all the Carly Simon discs I own, this one is my hands-down, absolute favorite! The quiet, gentle folk of "Our First Day Together" and bossa nova-tinged "Summer's Coming Around Again" (the latter being my personal favorite) are perfectly placed against the rock/pop flavors of "I've Got to Have You," "Legend in Your Own Time," and the spectacular title track. Carly has a wealth of superior material recorded, but as a singer/songwriter myself, this album reigns supreme as a most significant statement from one of the best musicians of our time.

Fantastic Carly album. I like this one so much, I am going to comment on each cut : Anticipation - one of Carly's best singles, stands the test of time. Legend In Your Own Time - beautiful song, a Carly classic. Our First Day Together - my least favorite on the album - sounds a little strained and disjointed. The Girl You Think You See - Carly sultry and innocent, great cut. Summer's Coming Around Again - makes you long for summer, another winner. This would be at home on a Michael Franks album. Share The End - eerie song, dramatic, but not overblown. Carly found the right balance on this one. Three Days - another understated triumph of Carly's The Garden - gives you a feeling of renewal, like a lot of the songs on the album, gives you goosebumps. Julie Through The Glass - pretty lullabye I've Got to Have You - sexy, sultry and innocent - great combo.

I absolutely LOVE this album from beginning to end...... I have had it since being fourteen (now 22) at a time when liking old folkies or AOR to quote the disparraging fouls aound me was not 'cool' The are some truely sublime moments on this album, Summer's Coming Around Again and I've Got To have You are just two. I also think that if the song were written now 'Legend In your Own time' could have quite easily been written about another of my musical hero's. the "soul" of carly simon is on this album. the touchingly delicate melodies have given me so many priceless moments over the years, particularly when i was younger and it first came out - now i''m older, and it still hits the right sentimental buttons - a classic beyond value!
