I purchased this album before I went away to college and listened to it all the time at Ohio U. I know each song by heart but the last two on this album are so beautifully done. The harmony touches the soul and you can't help but feel something when you listen to them. Mom-a-mount

When I first heard song #8 of this album, "Reunions" back in 1971, it caught me then, and was so haunting that I've never been able to forget it. It's a song about renunions each year, where, as each year passes, more and more of our friends aren't there to share the passing with. Excellent song!

I find myself comeing back to this album. Track 1, "That''s the Way...", bring me back to that time when I decided that I''ll never marry. Never expose myself to the hurt. Later - I fell in love and I said, "We will make it." Now, I am trying to hang on - I love her. I want it to not be true. But, maybe Carly is right, "That''s the Way I''ve Always Heard It Should Be." Will it be true for my children too? This world has the wrong answers. I want to go back to my grandparents vales. I want imtimacy and unconditional love. My email address is an anacronism, maybe I should change it?
Carly is so diverse in this album, making it a favorite.
