Comments for Simon And Garfunkel, Greatest hits

This disc includes several good live versions of their hit songs, including "For Emily, Wherever I may find her" and "59th Street Bridge Song." A standard best-of collection, but it may be worth it to buy all five albums, which can be had for under 10 dollars apiece or in an excellent 3 CD set.

Wouldn't this be considered folk music?

...or Classic Rock?

This is the best album which I listened in my age of 16.

The question of wich kind of music is this one seems to be a general point of all the artist of the 60's and beggining of 70's. Maybe it's related with the roots of rock music, and the influence of folk and blues. The song called "I'm a rock" had helped me to go trough a lot of lonely nights. Excellent!

This collection in general, but more specifically Cathy's Song, is absolutely beautiful and full of truth and meaning.

I actually prefer the live versions of "For Emily" & "The 59th St. Bridge Song (Feeling Groovy)" to the original album versions.
