Comments for Barf After Dark, Low Class

This album is considered by many to be a little more imaginative than it's immensely successful predecessor, the self-titled "Heart" album. There is a lot more experimental synthesizer work but this tends to take away from Heart's signature guitar-laden sound. Nonetheless, this album does contain some great tunes - including "Alone", which spent 3 weeks on the top of Billboard's Top 100, and "Who Will You Run To" which made it to #7. Perhaps the most memorable songs from this album were never released - the acoustic pretty "RSVP" and the autobiographical title song. Equally impressive is the version of Lisa Dalbello's "Wait for an Answer" for which Ann Wilson provides an earth-shattering vocal. All in all, "Bad Animals" is a great album and deserves to be a part of any music fan's collection.

Contains my fave guitar solo, "Bad Animals". Great all the way thru, and I have no problem with some people who tend not to like the synths...They sound great!
