Comments for Simply Red, STARS

Major disappointment artistically, tho' obviously a major seller in the British/European market. Hucknall is one of the best singers alive but seems to have lost his edge and way in bubblegum and Barry White-isms. Picture Book and Men and Women are still the best. Is the same man who wrote the stuff on Picture Book really responsible for the derivative drivel on Stars? Sad, Old Red.

Drivel? Granted it isn't exactly brain candy, but this is better than it is being given credit for on this page. The title song is the best.

The best album of Simply Red

Probably Simply Red's best album, even if it came as their American success was dropping considerably.

Very good album, although I think it comes second to `Picture book`. Recommended for everyone who likes this kind of musicand a must have for every Simply Red fan.
