Comments for Siouxsie And The Banshees, Tinderbox

E-MAIL: KarstenZang@msn.com
This must be the lowpoint of their career. The Banshees at their most conservative. All of the tracks are good, but they just don''t make a good album. Somehow the overall impression is that the band badly needed some new creative impulses. Nevertheless, as I''ve said, most of the tracks are good, some - the singles Cities In Dust and Candyman - even brilliant. Amusingly, it seems to be the favourite of most American fans, but Americans generally have a more conservative ear, don''t they? Not satisfying, but not quite bad either. Brilliant band, anyway.
I`ve said it before, but truly this has to be a great piece of work that every person should have. Though the music is great this could of easily been published as a great piece of writing. I love it.
