Slowdive is a highly underated band that deserves recognition

Slowdive, great mellow band.

This album is a musical masterpiece. A dreamscape of brilliant sound and emotion. It changed the way I will view music for the rest of my life.

The album listed here is the domestic version; check out the import which contains four more tracks. A better buy, but moreover, a much better album. Still, the domestic shows the high production values, excellent layering, and the smoother, richer sound which is ever so slightly lacking from "Just for a day" and "Pygmalion." On shrooms, or just pot, this album is incredible to listen to after a night out.

Songs here are more `indie-pop` compared to the longer nebulous material of their debut `Just for a Day`.Still contains the unique Slowdive scintillant guitar soundand feedback in the background. `Sing` is co-written withEno. `Melon Yellow` is a very dark piece, a venture into theCure`s `Wish` territory.
