Comments for Smith, Patti, Peace and Noise

Another superb album from Patti Smith coming off last years comeback effort "Gone Again". "Peace and Noise" seems to me to be an even stronger album. The mourning that surrounded the last album is still apparent, but a little bit of anger has been thrown into the mix this time out. Seemingly, death is still the central theme, but the message of people coming together to put a stop to senseless murder pops up on a couple of occasions. For you R.E.M. fans, Michael Stipe appears singing backup vocals on the song Last Call. This album is well worth your money, check it out.
