STT records isn't really know for it's great sound, but the recording and production is still pretty good. Early Soundgarden is great for Pre Nirvana grunge fans, and this is no exception. They (especially Cornell) haven't matured yet, but at least they haven't sold out yet . And they did a great cover of John Lennon's One Minute of Silence. Sounds exactly the same, and if you're into silence, try Type O negatives Slow Deep and Hard.
