Comments for Status Quo, Dog of two head

Status Quo have now had 48 hit singles in the U.K. Their most recent album is entitled 'Thirsty Work' and this peaked at number 13 in August 1994. Quo, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the meeting of Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt, will undertake their customary U.K. tour during November/Decmber this year.

This is a great Rock Album. It is a shame this band has been ignored in the US. Check out their greatest hits album "12 Gold Bars"

Status Quo are incredibly famous in the UK and europe but notat all known well in the states. The group have the distintionof having had more hit singles in the UK Charts than any othergroup in their career. Formed in 1964 (!) they had their firsthit in 1967. After a lean spell they became of boogie bandplaying good ole 12 bar blues with beatle overtones. Since 1972they have had over 35 hit singles in the UK and are the longestsurving band in the world i believe. They are typically britishand if you want to hear some good time rock and roll thentry this album (or any of them actually ;)
