Comments for Sting, Ten Summoner's Tales

E-MAIL: oudinot@msn.com
i have noticed as i look at the comments left on the inter net by other sting fans that alot of people don''t seem to enjoy the ten sommoners tales album or the mercury falling album nearly as much as they seem to like his previous albums. i would like to say that i have never heard a song written by sting that i didn''t like and i love both the ten sommoners tales and the mercury falling albums.
This is the laserdisc version of Ten Summoner`s Tales. Itappears to have been a separate recording (or at least mixing) from theCD release, and includes clips between the songs of Sting and the othermusicians wandering around the estate it was filmed at. I wasoriginally somewhat disappointed that it didn`t have the videos asreleased on TV, but I quickly overcame this, as it has somewhat extendedversions of some of the songs, including a jazz epilogue to "If I EverLose My Faith In You", and a nice thump in another song, as Sting`sstring bass falls over in the background. It was recorded in a 24 hoursession at a beautiful old stone house in the English countryside.
