Comments for Streisand, Barbra, higher ground

When Barbra first heard the song "Higher Ground" it immediately struck her as a good title for this album. In a sense, these two words seemed to sum up the album`s central message. For several months, she collaborated with co-producers and arrangers in a little cottage next to her home in LA, trying out songs, keys and tempos.
