Comments for Styx, Edge Of The Century

'Show Me The Way' proved to me that they could still do it. The rest of the album is not bad, but great either.

"Love is the Ritual" may not be a typical Styx tune, but it''s one of my favorites. It really rocks. It always makes me think of Donnie Iris'' "Love is Like a Rock." There are some other good numbers here too, like "Not Dead Yet" and the title song.

Reunion album following Tommy Shaw`s (Damn Yankees) departure.Glen Burtnik replaces Shaw as guitarist, vocalist, and song writer. Dennis DeYoung, James (JY) Young, John Panozzo, andChuck Panozzo return as original band members.
