Not their best album beginners should look elsewhere

Dennis DeYoung sings very well. Boat on the River is a classic.

Tracks like "Boat on the river", "Eddie" and "Love in the midnight" show that their songwriting was just about used up.But "Lights", "Why me?", "Babe" and "Never say never" make this one worth buying. The intro to "Borrowed time" is great for testing new speakers.

Interestingly, many of these tracks wound up on Greatest Hits 2, which means these may not be among Styx''s best songs, but they aren''t bad. " Boat on the River" was a huge hit in Europe. Styx still gets bashed for "Babe".
