Comments for Styx, Equinox

This was the last album with John Curulewski(pre-Tommy Shaw guitarist). Equinox bridges between the Wooden Nickel recordings and the "golden era" of Styx in the late seventies. "Suite Madame Blue" was a huge hit in Canada before many in the U.S.(except Chicago) knew about Styx. Equinox may not be as good as later albums, but it shows growth by the band & is a pretty good album.

IMO this is their best album.Classic rock that delivers what it should.Hard rocking guitars with great keyboards and vocals.
