Comments for Subdudes, Lucky

E-MAIL: cedavid@pegasus.rutgers.edu
I love the Subdudes - hate to say it but "Lucky" is their weakest album. The songs are weak and they try to rock too hard. "Anunciation" is great, but you should check out their self titled first album, and their follow up, "Primative Streak," which may be their best album. Unfortunatly, they broke up in November ''96 - damn shame.
An even blues sound. With expressive, emotional vocals by Tommy Malone, traditional blues lyrics and solidmusicianship, this a very accessible work. It is a goodnext album for all those who discovered the Subdudes withAnnunciation.
