Not really a metal album, more like a mixture of hc, metal, funk, and all these things that were buggin these excellent foursome. ST actually defined what's now called california hc sound . A piece of a damn good job!

Great S.T. album, check out NO MERCY - Widespread Bloodshed/Love Runs Red, for the origional versions of most of these songs. No Mercy was the first colaboration of Mike Muir And Mike Clark and was released after the first S.T. album. It was intended to be Mike Muir's METAL band, a style that he soon integrated into S.T. I wish I still had this tape, and will pick it up on CD some day as a bit of nostalgia.

Suicidal being my favorite band, of course I love this CD. Controlled By Hatred is a great metal album which includes the Heavy Emotion Version of their classic "How Will I Laugh Tomorrow." The title track, the heavy emo, and "just another love song" are my top faves, but i fuckin' love 'em all. buy this.

This is farmost the best suicidal album around. Mike Muir puts real emotion into this one. There is alot of anger and guitar rifts from hell.

Suicidal Tendencies is my favorite group. But it's so obvious that this album is the best by far. This is the best album I have ever listened to no matter what band.
