Comments for Sylvias Ghost, Epidemic EP

Hard-driving psychedelic rock. The first song, "Epidemic," has a haunting Eastern mystique. "Unspoken" is an excellent ballad with a touch of human irony. Perhaps the lyrics are a bit light, but hey. "Seven" is a truly stirring song of yearning, confusion, and comfort. This band''s getting better all the time, I must say!

This was the band's self-released tape that help earn them a record deal with Northwest indie Rainforest Records. (Along with legendary live shows), It really shows the potential of the band. Too bad the band broke up before releasing this material on CD. Sylvias Ghost was of the most unique and talented of the great wave of bands out of the Northwest U.S. in the 90s.
