If you like 'seattle' music, then you must own this album. Look for Chris and Eddie trading off verses on 'hunger strike' and the cool fade-out on 'four-walled world'. This is a masterwork which illustrates chris' spectacular song-writing skills. Buy it soon or listen to it at a friend's house now!

One of the best albums you're ever likely to own. Don't go to this one looking for the hard grunge guitars of Ten and Badmotorfinger, look instead for a quieter, but still emotional and driven sound that will blow you away. Chris Cornell affirms himself as one of the finest singers and songwriters of his time, with the poignant and beautiful lyrics and vocals. Take some time out to tread the lyrics on the jacket specially the songs like 'say hello 2 heaven' dedicated to Wood.

One of the greatest albums ever! To anyone who wonders who has more talent between Chris and Eddie, check to see who wrote EVERYTHING on this album. Eddie sings back-up vocals (where he belongs) on most of the songs.

Simply one of the greatest pieces of music ever created. The combination of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam is unbeatable. Get it if you don't have it, you won't be sorry- I guarantee.

Have owned this album for a while, one of the very best softer grunge albums I know of... The band members work incredibly well together, most songs really groove. My personal favourite is Times of Trouble.

I never get tired of this album, which is probably (one of) the best in my cd-collection. The guitar solo on Call Me a Dog sends shivers down my spine every single time.

What else can you say except "What an awesome album!!!" Chris Cornell gives all, and then some, in this tribute album to Andrew Wood. A must have for everyone. The only thing I can fault is that they never have and never intend to make any more albums.

I have over 800 CD''s, tapes, and records and this one is defineately in the top 5. Every time I go to my CD rack I want to pick this one up and listen to it and usually do. I don''t know why I just don''t leave it in the CD player. This is a very emotional album and Chris Cornell''s song writing on this album can only be rivaled, never surpassed. I love every song on this album, especially Call Me A Dog and All Night Thing. If you want to hear two other songs that were recorded but left off of the album, get the Soundgarden bootleg - Stolen Prayers. This album contains the Temple Of The Dog demos ''Black Cat'', ''Angel On Fire'', and ''Reach Down''. It also has some very good, rare soundgarden songs (Nowhere But You, Spoonman(demo), Fluttergirl,Missing) and three songs that were written for other artists but are sung by Chris Cornell (Stolen Prayer,Heartfist,Unholy War). The last two songs on the album are Black Hole Sun and Head Down both live from Kitsap, WA 6/94.
Members of Peal Jam and Soundgarden did this one-time projectas a tribute to former Mother Love Bone singer, Andrew Wood whodied of a heroin overdose. Chris Cornell`s vocals and lyricshere are among his best ever! The guitar playing is also top-notch. This is definitely a must have disc. If they had stayedtogether as a band (never intended to) they would have rivalednirvana in popularity. They certainly were/are more talented. You might wish to check out "Mother Love Bone" and "Green RIver"to hear what the members of "Pearl Jam" came from.
