Comments for The Brand New Heavies, Original Flava

A few nice instrumental moments exist here, but from Jan Kincaid''s crack at the lead vocal on "Never Stop" and an early Heavies female vocalist''s attempt at "Dream Come True," it''s clear the Heavies needed N''Dea Davenport just as much as she needed them. Interesting enough for the unreleased tracks, but nowhere near as compelling as their later work.
