Falling neatly either side of their alter-ego's "Skylarking" album, this is the best thing XTC ever put together. The sixties never sounded so good (or had such an evil twist!)

Pure psychedelic perfection. A long-deserved reissue highlighting the songwriting talents of Sire John Johns and the Red Curtain. They could have been bigger than The Rutles, or at least Rod. Even today, it's hard to guage just what their influence might have been on Syd Barrett, John Lennon, Brian Wilson, Arthur Lee or Roger McGuinn circa 66-67. Ha, pure XTC really.
