Comments for The Jayhawks, Hollywood Town Hall

The "Nevada, California" track is reminiscent of the best of the Eagle''s folk-rock from the seventies, but has that obscure Jayhawks quality of having the lyrics never quite making literal sense, leaving you to dwell on the emotional content of the music. Good stuff. I can see why Tom Petty had them opening shows for him this summer.
