Comments for The Tragically Hip, Day For NightE-MAIL: carvalho@lse.ac.uk Terribly disappointing. Sleepy, mellow doodlings - where are the driving rock tracks? Pretentious, inpenetrable lyrics at times.E-MAIL: kingj@is.dal.ca How can you not like this album. I seen them in Haliax-one of the best concerts I've seen. The album is the first one of their I've bought, but Christ it's good!E-MAIL: tronmark@canuck.com Just saw them in Calgary. Awesome, they played almost the whole new album. (this album really grows on you)E-MAIL: Dgordon@carins.cariboo.bc.ca I attended their concert in Kamloops B.C. last week and it Rocked. I will admit that it took awhile to get into this new record but it is one of the best.E-MAIL: rsalonen@carins.cariboo.bc.ca I must say that this album was strange when i first heard it, but now i think it's really cued up! Iknow a slave is not slave if he is simply satisfied with less. Spring 96E-MAIL: aa358@fan.nb.ca Am I the only one in Canada who does not like this album. DFN is dark, moody, depressing and lethargic. I enjoyed the debut and Road Aplles, that included upbeat and med-tempo rockers mixed with the more darker and slower trackers. DFN only includes the latter. Too bad they are trying to revive Goth Rock. RV-Fredericton NBE-MAIL: gwatson@mts.net Goth rock!? I think not. 17,000 people as well as myself saw the Hip outdoors last summer headlining ARA with Mathew Sweet, Blues Traveller ect, crowdsurfing during an improvised Fully Completely, moshing at night with the Hip about 20 feet away was the highlight of my year, awesome, a must see at all costs Out in Canada and in Europe since 10/94.Will be out in USA 01/95.In my mind, the best of all 5 albums.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
