The first album proved to be a promicing one. Concidering I bought Flood before I bought this one. My favorite songs quickly became Nuber Three, Don't Let's Start, and She's An Angel. I wasn't disapointed in this album, In fact I thought it was a fantastic first album for the brooklyn ambassador's of lovwe and I didn't find two bad songs on there. All in all the album was good.

I becamie a TMBG fan after hearing Flood and Apollo 18. After I bought a copy of John Henry and was turned of by it (I like it now, but it takes some time to get used to it) I wanted to hear some songs in TMBG's old style. The only album I managed to get my hands on was their first, which can someitmes be pretty bad, but I loved it. The music is fairly simple, the lyrics either make no sense or are spooky if you try to find a meaning in them, it's classic TMBG. 37 Thumbs up.

wonderful. quintessential tmbg. tmbg is an extremely intelligent band. .it always surprises me how popular they are with fools.

It all started here, folks. If you like TMBG, get this album. I like TMBG because their songs are very unique. Either they have alot of meaning behind them, or they sound like they do. Nobody else seems to have the style of TMBG. This album is a good start to buying all of them.

This was my first TMBG album, which I got right after I saw the video for "Don't Let's Start" on 120 Minutes. This band is the 6th grade for me. I've been disappointed with recent releases. they think that they are cooler than they are, and so do most of their current fans. The Devo syndrome. I saw them last year at a free show at Lucy's Record Shop in Nashville. It tied up alot of loose ends from my childhood.

Ack! This is horrible! By FAR their worse release. (To be fair, the remixes done later off of this album were much better.) I recommend Flood or Apollo 18.

This album is back from when TMBG were in their "weird" phase. Now, they write songs *about* things, but back then a lot of their songs were just really random (32 Footsteps, Puppet Head, Boat Of Car, etc.) Also much more techy, not at all like the current rock sound, with a lot of weird FX, strange voices, and a cheap drum machine. If you like the other albums, I'd pick this up; just don't expect Flood or even Lincoln Redux.

An excellent album, and the first of the Giants'' that I bought. Sure, the drum machine is cheesy, but look at all the oodles of great songs! The classic "Don''t Let''s Start" is here, along with the poppy grooves of "Everything Right Is Wrong Again", the eccentricities of "Absolutely Bill''s Mood", and the fun of "Nothing''s Gonna Change My Clothes" and "Rhythm Section Want Ad", along with the beautiful love song "She''s An Angel".
